I liked this one more than I thought I would. I love Lisa Kleypas's historicals but there was something about her contemporaries that always put me off. I'm glad I finally read this one. Although I'd classify is as fiction more than romance, as it's really Liberty's story. Liberty is what makes this work for me. I hate to quote the jacket cover but she is an easy heroine to root for. I guess I learned my lesson that I shouldn't doubt LK and I won't wait long to read Blue Eyed Devil.
